Addressing the meeting of UCPN (Maoist) Parliamentary Party, Shrestha said the party should consider itself triumphant as the new statute has institutionalized republic, secularism and federalism raised by the party since long.
The leader was assigned from the party to prepare the draft of the much-awaited constitution.
“It's not that all our demands were included in the statute,” Shrestha said, “In totality, the constitution has institutionalized issues raised by us.”
