Winning the toss, UAE chose to bat first and were able to score only 80 runs losing six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Sarita Magar sent three UAE batswomen to the pavilion in her regular four-over spell, conceding 16 runs. Captain Nary Thapa bagged a wicket for 18 runs in four overs.
Shruti Panday was the highest scorer for UAE with a not out 38 runs off 52 balls while others could not touch the double figure.
For the Nepali side, Sharma took two wickets in her four-over spell giving away nine runs.
Nepal did not have a good start as they lost the opener early on.
Manisha Rawal was run out at a score of seven. Rawal scored two runs off four balls. It was the 50 runs partnership between Sita Magar and Sharma that guided Nepal to the comfortable victory.
Magar was not out with 21 runs off 23 balls including three boundaries while Captain Thapa was on 15 runs off 11 balls when they registered victory for Nepal.
Sharma scored quick 21 runs off 18 balls including three fours.
