KATHMANDU, May 8: The Special Court on Sunday granted the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) a 14-day judicial custody of lawmakers Gyatri Shah and BP Yadav to investigate their alleged role in the misuse of red passports.

The constitutional anti-graft body arrested the lawmakers on Friday, shortly after the Kathmandu District Court released them on bail.

The CIAA produced them before the Court seeking their detention to carry out further probe into the red passport scam.
