Mehboob Alam (13), Mahesh Chhetri (12) and Dipendra Chaudhary (12) were the only other batsmen to contribute double figure runs for the senior team. Amrit Bhattarai pocketed four and Prithu Baskota hauled two wickets for U-21.
Pradeep Aire smashed 31 off 23 balls for U-21 with two boundaries and a six while Naresh Budhayer hit 22 and Binod Bhandari and Anil Mandal added 13 runs apiece. Shakti Gauchan and Basanta Regmi claimed three and two scalps of U-21 respectively.
The match is held in a bid to prepare for the South Asian Games (SAG) cricket to begin from next week in Bangladesh.
The U-21 team is participating in the SAG and the senior team is preparing for the ICC Pepsi Division Five League Cricket Tournament to begin in the capital from February 20.
