According to the Ministry of General Administration, the Excellent Civil Service Award was given to Bhagawati Kumar Kafle, Secretary at the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority for this year. The Award carries a purse of Rs 200,000.
Similarly, the Best Civil Service Award carrying the purse of Rs 100,000 was provided to 10 civil servants and the Civil Service Award of Rs 50,000 to 30.
The civil servants receiving the Best Civil Service Award are Joint Secretary at the Legislature-Parliament Tek Prasad Dhungana, Joint Secretary at Finance Ministry Rajan Khanal, Director General at Department of Foreign Employment Purna Chandra Bhattarai, Acting Director at the Regional Education Directorate Surkhet Nira Shakya, Director at Office the of the Auditor General Ganesh Prasad Poudel, Local Development Officer in Rolpa Ramesh Neupane, Food Research Officer at Department of Food Technology and Quality Control Dhruba Kumar Shrestha, Section Officer at the Public Service Commission Rewati KC Shrestha, tameldar dittha at District Court of Udayapur Upendra Mandal and postman at the Postal Service Department Purushottam Shrestha.
