SC issues show cause notice to NA

KATHMANDU, April 21: Responding to a writ petition, the Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday issued a show cause notice to the Nepal Army (NA) over the latter´s decision to recruit fresh personnel.



A single bench of justice Top Bahadur Magar issued the order asking the NA to furnish clarifications on why it published vacancies for 271 technical posts.



The bench has summoned the government and army representatives to appear before the court after a week for further discussion.
