KATHMANDU, Jan 5: Amid controversy over the Rastriya Swatantra Party’s (RSP) proportional representation closed list, a wave of candidate withdrawals continues. The latest to step back is Arnico Panday.
Earlier, Tashi Sherpa, Trishala Gurung, Asif Shah, Sachin Dhakal, and Mahendra Lawati had also withdrawn amid disputes. The Election Commission has set a deadline of January 12 for any revisions to the list.
