'Rope in Nepali companies in fast track construction'

KATHMANDU, Feb. 28: The Public Account Committee (PAC) under Legislature-Parliament has directed the government and the ministries concerned to rope in more companies in construction of the fast track from Kathmandu to Bara.



Holding a meeting on Monday, PAC issued this direction, calling for ensuring at least 10 percent of representation of Nepali companies.[break]



PAC has ordered to put tender in website for transparency of the project, make conditions flexible while roping in Nepali companies and form a high-level direction committee to effectively implement the project.



The meeting was held under the chair of PAC Chairman Ram Krishna Yadav.



 Constituent Assembly members Prakash Chandra Lohini, Surendra Pandey, Deep Kumar Upadhaya and some other presented suggestions in the meeting.
