Fifty-nine VDC secretaries in Baglung district resigned en masse on Thursday citing insecurity.
They submitted their resignation letters to Local Development Officer Bishnu Bahadur Thapa.

He, however, ruled out the possibility of approving the resignation. “I will hold a meeting with security personnel in the district and try to ensure safety to the secretaries,” he said.
