KATHMANDU, June 23: Chairman of Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP) Surya Bahadur Thapa returned home from Norvic Hospital in Thapathali after his health improved. He was admitted to the hospital after he suddenly fell unconscious at a joint meeting of Rastriya Prajatantra Party and RJP on June 9.

Senior physicians Dr Bharat Rawat and a team of senior cardiologists from India had attended to the octogenarian leader.

“He has fully recovered now,” said Thapa´s son Sunil. Talking briefly to media persons at the hospital, Thapa expressed gratitude to the doctors. He also thanked the vice president, the prime minister and other dignitaries, who visited him at the hospital and wished him quick recovery.
