Secretary at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, Kishor Thapa, said an innovation center is to be established with an objective of attracting Nepali scientists.
Thapa said the objective is to establish Bio-Tech Centre for the study and research of medical science, animal health science, among others. Similarly, he said a Space-Tech Centre is also to be set up for the study and research on astronomy.
He added works related to this have been initiated.
Thapa said the research centres will support the Nepali scientists, who have feeling of doing something in the country, to carry out study and research and hoped that this will help the brain drain to foreign countries.
