Managing Director of the publications Binod Raj Gyawali laid the foundation of a building to house the press in Biratnagar on Monday. Locals, social workers and Morang Police Chief Devendra Subedi were present on the occasion.
“We are setting up a press in Biratnagar so that our readers in the region can get the dailies early in the morning,” Gyawali said. “In a short span of time, Republica and Nagarik dailies have earned a lot of love from readers in the eastern region,” he added.
Currently, the two dailies are being published from Kathmandu and Nepalgunj.
