Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal made this request during his meeting with Deputy Chief of Mission at the US embassy Jeffrey Moon at the former´s residence at Nayabazar, Kathmandu on Wednesday morning, according to Maoist leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara.
Mahara said Dahal and Moon held discussion on removing the party from the list, Maoist-US relationship, ongoing political deadlock, peace process, constitution drafting and army integration among other issues.
"US is positive on the issue," Mahara claimed.
