Religious fair in Trivenidham

NAWALPARASI, Feb. 2: A religious fair has started today at Trivenidham of Nawalparasi on the occasion of Maghe Aushi.



Turnout of about 200,000 people from Nepal and India is expected in the three-day fair. [break]



People have been arriving to take a holy bath in Trevenidham on the occasion of Maghe Aushi.



Triveni is the meeting point of Narayanir, Balbhadra and Swarnabhadra rivers, where people gather to take a bath every year.



It is believed that wishes and desires of those who take a bath here will be fulfilled and will get rid of all sins.



People living with infertility also take a bath here hoping that they will have children in future.
