Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, the bank said its branches in Kathmandu valley as well as in Biratnagar, Birgunj, Pokhara and Nepalgunj will provide the newly introduced service to the customers.
The bank´s customers holding Nepal Telecom´s Prepaid and CDMA service will be entitled to enjoy the new service. The bank has also said that it is also introducing another service that facilitates the customers to pay the bill of internet and telephone.
The country´s largest commercial bank in terms of deposits and branch network has already computerized its 116 branches and is providing internet banking and SMS banking services besides ATM services from 20 branches.
Winners announced under Kinmel Dhamaka
KATHMANDU, Oct 7: United World Trade Center Business Association at Tripureshwar has announced winners under its first scheme of ´100 Days Kinmel Dhamaka´.
A total of 276 customers were declared winners of different prizes, including refrigerators, washing machines, micro-wave ovens, rice cookers, TV sets, vacuum cleaners amd mini-bikes among other prizes. Similarly, winners of different consolation prices worth Rs 1200 to Rs 5000 were also declared on the occasion. Organizers said they announced winners for prizes worth around Rs 500,000 on Wednesday.

The 100-day shopping scheme was launched on the festive occasion of Dashain and Tihar. Under the scheme, a customer will get a Lifan car at the end of one of the largest prize schemes ever. Motorcycles and different house appliances are also offered as prizes.
"A total of 43 companies have sponsored prizes for the scheme," said Trilokeshwar Malla, managing director of Direction Nepal, which coordinates the event. “Over 1200 customers will be announced winner of different prizes by the end of three month long scheme,” Malla added.
Second phase of prize distribution will be held next month.
