Rawal visits Potala Palace

HONG KONG, Feb 7: Home Minister Bhim Rawal, who is on a weeklong China trip, visited Potala Palace in Lhasa and presented a 1.5m tall Buddha statue to the palace on Sunday.



Meanwhile, Rawal also met with officials to Tibet Government and Chinese Communist Party before leaving for Beijing.



On Monday, Rawal is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Chinese Minister for Public Security.



Eight-member visit team also consists of Nepal Police Inspector General Ramesh Chand, Armed Police Force Inspector General Sanat Kumar Basnet and National Investigation Department chief Ashok Dev Bhatta.
