The railway service was halted following the lack of fuel, thanks to the financial crisis.[break]
The railway officials said that some 80 liters diesel was required to complete the 29 kilometers distance of the railway service from Janakpur- Jayanagar.
Officials at the railway service said that the company was reeling under debt and was unable to buy the required quantity of fuels.
They complained that the employees at the office were also deprived of their salary for four months due to financial crisis.
