“[Nepali Congress President] Sushil Koirala has asked our chairman formally and informally to lead the government. But Dahal has told us that he would not lead the government. We have also advised him not to accept the NC´s offer,” said Pun at an interaction at Reporters´ Club.
Elaborating why Dahal should not lead the next government, Pun said the next government would not last for more than six months.
“Instead of heading the government, Dahal should lead the peace process and constitution drafting,” said Pun.
