KATHMANDU, Aug 19: The government has announced a public holiday for Monday to mark Eid, the last day of Ramjan, the Muslim holy month of fasting..

It is mentioned in the Nepal Gazette Part-5 on February 20 that there will be holiday across the country on the occasion of the Eid festival of the Islam people.
