The Nepal Students Union (NSU), a student wing of the Nepali Congress has added another lock over the earlier padlocks by PU Teachers´ Union and Employees´ Union.
The PU teachers and employees had padlocked the University demanding that the registrar should be appointed from among them.
The University teachers have padlocked the PU Registrar´s Office for the last four days while the NSU expressed solidarity to the protests started by PU Teachers´ Union and added another lock.
The classes are now totally disrupted as all the Departments under PU including the Office of the Vice-Chancellor are padlocked by the NSU.
