Prudential extends crops, livestock insurance service

KATHMANDU, March 12: Prudential Insurance has extended its crops and livestock insurance scheme to Lamjung, Gorkha and Nawalparasi from its branch office based in Dumre of Tanahun.

According to a statement issued by the company, its officials on Sunday interacted with officials of District Agricultural Development Office and Livestock Service Offices of the four districts to discuss about their scheme.


 

Officials of the company requested agriculture and livestock technicians of the districts to make farmers aware of the benefits of crops and livestock insurance scheme, according to the statement. The government provides 75 percent subsidy on premium for crop and livestock insurance.
