Professors, docs, students demonstrate at PM residence

KATHMANDU, April 17: Professors, doctors and students at the Tribhuvan University, Institute of Medicine organized a demonstration at the Prime Minister´s official residence at Baluwatar Tuesday morning, calling for the prompt appointment of various office-bearers of the Institute including the Dean.



A delegation led by the Nepal University Teachers´ Association (NUTA) unit on the occasion submitted a memorandum at the Private Secretariat of the Prime Minister, drawing his attention to the need of making appointments to the various vacant posts. [break]



President of the Association, Dinesh Pokharel, said the demonstration has been organised to press for the fulfillment of their one-point demand of appointing the office-bearers without any political prejudice.
