Private schools in Dhanusa reopen

MAHENDRANAGAR (Dhanusha), Sept 29: The private and boarding schools in Janakpur in Dhanusha district and its surrounding, which were affected adversely following the Terai agitation for a month and half, have now started resuming its classes.

The community schools in the district, however, have remained shutdown.According to Narendra Singh, Private and Boarding Schools' Organization, Nepal (PABSON), Dhanusa chapter Chairperson, the decision to open the private schools in the district came into effect after acknowledging the fact that the schools in the district ran for a month in last six months' period.

The students were found going to school off their regular uniform.

The Schools in northern and eastern part of the district, such as Mithila Municipality, Dhalebar, Lalgadh, Tulsi, Dhanushadham Municipality, among others have started operating teaching-learning activities.

PABSON, Dhanusha chapter was mulling holding talks with the agitating Madhesh-centric parties in view of resuming halted classes in the other parts of the district. RSS
