KATHMANDU, Sept 13: Prime College and Adarsha Vidya Mandir (AVM) became champions in the Sixth Krishnadhoj Memorial Inter-school and College Nationwide Table Tennis Tournament on Sunday.
Prime bagged five golds to finish first in the college section, while AVM secured the top position in the school section with six gold medals. On the last day of the tournament, Krishna Thapa Magar of CCRC won boys' singles final, while Alina Maharjan of Prime came first in the girls' singles final.

Similarly, Safal Awal and Manju Suwal of Prabhat won boys' and girls' U-10 titles respectively while Sanyog Kapali of AVM, Anju Suwal of Prabhat bagged gold in boys' and girls' U-12 golds; Ashish Sharma of AVM and Anushka Prasai of Shree Gyan Mandir won boys' and girls' U-14 titles and Ritiz Joshi and Diksha Tamang of AVM claimed boys' and girls' U-16 gold medals in the school category.
Similarly, Maharjan siblings Alina and Erika of Prime won the women's doubles event in the college section, while Ajesh Maharjan and Bilosh Shrestha won men's doubles event. Alina and Pradeep Roka of Prime won mixed doubles title. Prime finished top in the team event. Altogether 250 players took part in the tournament for seven golds in school and 10 golds in college sections.
