Gachchhadar also asked other parties not to cast doubts over the president´s motive as he had expressed such concerns in his capacity as the guardian of the country. [break]
“It is natural for the president to express concerns, especially when law and order situation is deteriorating and the possibility of drafting a new constitution is getting slimmer,” he said.
On Friday, Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal reportedly expressed his dissatisfaction over consultations held by President Dr Yadav with other political leaders on the issue.
Talking to media persons, Gachchadar claimed the current government can not function smoothly until it gets full shape. “There are serious doubts if the government will promulgate a new constitution.”
He said the seven-point deal between the Maoists and the UML was a just ploy to form a new government. He also said that the four-point agreement between the government and the Madhesi People´s Rights Forum-Nepal was just to lure MPRF Chairman Upendra Yadav into joining the government.
“The agreements have no meaning,” he said.
