Prez statement 'bypassed' PM: UCPN (Maoist)

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: UCPN (Maoist) has said that President Ram Baran Yadav bypassed Prime Minister (PM) Baburam Bhattarai while issuing a statement on a seven-day deadline to pick new consensus PM by addressing to Chief Secretary Lilamani Paudyal.



“We are surprised that the president issued the statement addressing the chief secretary not the PM”, Maoist spokesperson Agni Sapkota said in regular interaction with reporters at his party office on Saturday.[break]
