President Yadav offered worship at the Nawadurga Temple in his capacity as the Head of State.[break]
Chief priest at the Nawadurga Temple, Julal Karmacharya welcomed the President at the temple and took him in the temple.
Head of the Banmala Guthi [religious trust], Indra Bahadur Banmala presented garlands, a Bimiro [a variety of citrus fruit] and five-coloured threads as the auspicious token of the goddess Nawadurga and associated deities.
On the occasion, President Dr. Yadav observed the idols of the Nawadurga Devagan and paid homage. Chiefs of different government offices and representatives of political parties welcomed the President when he arrived at the temple.
