NUWAKOT, Nov 26: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Posta Bahadur Bogati, has said that announcement of President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav for the formation of a national consensus government is aimed at inviting political confrontation rather than solving political crisis.

Speaking at a news conference organised by the Revolutionary Journalists´ Association in Bidur on Monday, Minister Bogati said that we should worry about what will happen if consensus was not forged till the deadline without talking in favour and against the call of the president for the formation of a national consensus government by giving deadline of seven days. Claiming that conspiracies have been hatched to hand over executive rights to the President by political parties, Bogati, also the Secretary of the UCPN (Maoist), said that the opposition parties will be ineffective if executive rights were handed over to the President by instigating him.

Stating that the UCPN (Maoist) has shown flexibility as far as possible, Minister Bogati blamed that the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML are the main obstruction to consensus.
