In this connection, the Office has repealed some 750 fake examinee forms filled from the districts including Sarlahi and Bara thereby preventing the fake students sitting in the exams.[break]
In order to prevent the untoward incidents as experienced in the previous years especially in the Tarai region, the Office is all set to hold the exams strictly.
Moreover, a stringent policy has been brought to prevent cheating, arrest and punish the unruly ones and keep the superintendents out of anyone´s influence, said Ambika Prasad Regmi, Deputy Controller of Examinations.
The concerned bodies have been urged to abide by the code of conduct the Office made to hold the exam in a respected and undisputable manner.
Security persons, media, local representatives of the political parties, and the ogranizations have also been requested to extend support to hold the exam in an amicable atmosphere.
Altogether 1675 exam centres have been set up across the country while the superintendents will be mobilized in the same number followed by 3350 assistants. One teacher will invigilate 25 examinees.
Controller of Examination, Surya Prasad Gautam said 500,000 students are sitting in the SLC exam this year. Some 4.2 million answer sheets have been printed for the exam.
All the stationery necessary for the exam has been sent to all the districts. The exam will be conducted from 8:00 am-11:00 am.
Different sets of question papers have been prepared for different development regions in the country, it is said.
