The memo reads that the students' unions would go in protest if their demands were not addressed. In response, PM Koirala said that it was not the time for agitation and the new doors of opportunity would open after the promulgation of a new constitution.
He further added that peace, prosperity and political stability that will follow the promulgation of the new constitution would also open the door for development of the country.
On the occasion, the students’ union representatives also urged PM Koirala to arrange free education for students who lost their parents and guardians in the quake. RSS
