PM Koirala,TMDP chair Thakur holding talks

KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has reached Bijuli Bazaar-based party office of Terai Madhesh Democratic Party (TMDP) to hold talks with TMDP Chairman Mahanth Thakur on the ongoing Tarai protest on Tuesday morning.

PM Koirala met Thakur prior to heading to USA, New York to participate at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). PM is scheduled to fly to New York for UNGA on Wednesday leading an 18-member delegation.Sources said that both leaders are holding talks on ending the ongoing protests in Tarai being held for the last one month.

Nepali Congress leader Annanda Prasad Dhungana is also there with the PM during the talks along with various TMDP top leaders.
