PM Karki extends Xmas Day greetings

KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has extended her best wishes to all Nepali sisters and brothers at home and abroad on the occasion of Christmas, the major festival of the Christians.



Taking to social media, the Prime Minister conveyed her Christmas greetings, writing: “May this festival, which carries the message of love, peace, compassion, and goodwill, inspire all of us to further enhance mutual understanding, coexistence, and bonding by strengthening the collective norms of humanity.”

She also stated that festivals like Christmas, celebrated in our country that is a confluence of diverse religions, languages, and cultures, have contributed to further consolidating national unity amid diversity. On the occasion of the festival, she wished all Nepalis peace, happiness, prosperity, and progress.


Christians across the world, including in Nepal, are celebrating Christmas today, December 25.
