According to the police, Narendra Tamrakar, a PLA commander of Masuriya- based cantonment kidnapped Kalawati Tamrakar of Chhachoda of Amargadhi- 6 while she was on the way to her school on Monday. He was caught from Rolli of Ajayameru -7 same day.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Singh said however, other six members of his gang are on the run and police had launched a manhunt to nab them. It is learnt that Narendra abducted Kalawati saying that she refused his marriage proposal.
It is said Kalawati is an 11th grader at Ugratara Higher Secondary School and has been handed over to the family.
