“The president is positive towards a package deal,” former Prime Minister Deuba said after a meeting at Koirala’s residence. “Now, the dispute will end in a week.”[break]
“Now we will move forward united,” Deuba, who is leaving for Dhangadi later in the afternoon, said.
A faction of leaders supporting Deuba, who tendered his resignation as a party’s central committee member after Koirala dissolved sister organizations, has boycotted party’s meeting for four months.
Deuba had earlier said that the conflict would only end if Koirala agreed to deal in package about nomination of members in the central committee and sister organizations.
