Police also nabbed Keshav Kadariya, a JMMT cadre, together with Pappu from Betahani Jungle. Another JMMT cadre was arrested from Nepalgunj, acting on a tip off from Pappu.
The police also seized a pistol and bullets from Pappu.
Police consider Pappu as the mastermind behind increasing terror of extortion and murders in Banke. "Yadav was ambushed in jungle," a police official said.
