Oxygen cylinder blast kills one

POKHARA, May 19: A person has been killed in Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara when the regulator of an oxygen cylinder went off.



Prem Bahadur GC (22) of Pumdibhumdi VDC died in the accident.



GC was undergoing treatment at the hospital following a surgery five days ago after he fell into the gorge of Seti River. The hospital administration said it has been investigating the case.



Meanwhile, three persons of a family have been injured in Hirminiya VDC-3 of Banke when a television set went off.



Jafel Hussein (8), Tajmullah Hussein (8) and Sayarbanu Hussein (4) were injured when the TV they were watching suddenly went off last night, the police said.
