The mini-truck belonging to the District Police Office was returning to the district headquarters after transporting the logistics for the upcoming School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examination to Kusmisera and Balewa examination centres in the district.
The deceased is the driver of the mini-truck, 27-year-old Krishna Prasad Poudel of Balewa Paiyunpata. The people injured in the accident are undergoing treatment the Dhawalagiri Zonal Hospital.
Among them three persons seriously injured in the mishap have been sent to the Manipal Hospital in Pokhara for further treatment, police said.
