KATHMANDU, March 6: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), the state oil monopoly, has issued a directive to all the petrol stations within the Kathmandu Valley to provide petroleum products from Sunday morning.

The NOC issued the directive after widespread complaints by the public that the irregularities were rife in the distribution of the same in various petrol stations across the Valley.

The directive also includes the distribution of the fuel from morning at 7:00 onwards to evening and adequately, according to NOC Spokesperson Mukunda Prasad Ghimire.

Those petrol stations taken action for their irregularities are however barred from distribution of fuel.

Similarly, the petrol stations run by the security forces are to be run round the clock after the coordination with those petrol stations and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The decision to this effect has come forth following the recently issued directive by Minister for Home Affairs Shakti Bahadur Basnet recently. RSS
