No outside trip till peace, statute concludes: Khanal

KATHMANDU, April 7: CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal has said he would make no trips outside the capital until the peace and constitution drafting process is concluded.



Khanal said so during a telephonic conversation with party leaders and civil society activists from the remote Mustang district on Saturday. Khanal talked to UML Mustang chief Mohan Chandra Gauchan, former Mustang district development committee chairman Ananda Gauchan and civil society activist Ram Chandra Adhikari, among others.[break]



The leaders and civil society activists of Mustang inquired him about the latest developments in the peace and constitution drafting and urged him to work toward completing the two tasks on time.



A day earlier, he had held similar conservation with party leaders and civil society activists of Sarlahi district. He will contact party leaders and civil society members of Doti district on Sunday and those of Chitwan on Monday.
