Thirty-three families here passed registration of their house and land for the airport, but they have not been compensated for their property.
We have not been able to leave from here after the Ilam Municipality did not provide us the compensation, Chitra Bhandari said.
A total of 266 ropani of land has been acquired for the airport.
So far compensation worth Rs. 12.3 million has already been paid, the Municipality has said.
