KATHMANDU : A team of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has visited Sarita Giri at Shanti Batika, where she is staging fast-unto-death since the last 13 days. "NHRC team has said that they will release a press statement very soon," said Govinda Sah, spokesperson of the party.

"The government has not shown any concern even as Giri´s hunger strike is in its 13th day," claimed Sah.

Sah further insisted that their party will hold a candle rally in the capital on Monday. "The health condition of Giri is worsening," said Sah.

Giri has been on fast-unto-death since August 13 in the capital demanding a review of the number of election constituencies for the upcoming Constituent Assembly elections.
