LEICESTER, England, May 2: Newcastle had two players sent off and lost its eighth Premier League game Saturday as Leicester won 3-0 to boost its bid to stay up.

Newcastle's own topflight status is now far from certain, with the northeast team only five points above the drop zone with three games to go. Leicester is four points and two places above the danger zone but relegation rivals have games in hand.

Leonardo Ulloa headed Leicester in front in the opening minute and Wes Morgan doubled the lead in the 17th. Ulloa scored his second from the penalty spot early in the second half.

Mike Williamson was the first Newcastle player to be sent off in the 61st after receiving a second yellow card. Daryl Janmaat saw red in stoppage time.
