Newa, Tamsaling strike concludes

KATHMANDU, April 27: The day-long strike called by Newa Autonomous State Struggle Committee and Joint Tamsaling Struggle Committee ended at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.



"The strike ends, now we will go into interaction with concerned bodies," Indra Bahadur Thing, the general secretary of Maoist-affiliated Tamang Mukti Morcha told myrepublica.com



The strike was called demanding peace and constitution along with autonomous Newa and Tamsaling states.
