New Lira won the toss and elected to bat first. They piled up 102 runs losing nine wickets in 20 overs. Dilman Roka scored 22 runs for New Lira while 34 runs came from extras.

In reply, Suryodaya were all out for 32 runs in 13.4 overs. Bijaya Rokaya took five wickets for New Lira and was named man of the match.
Suryodaya´s Nupur Pandey was adjudged man of the series and best batsman of the series. Likewise, Suyash Aryal was named best bowler of the tournament.
PM attends NSC board meeting
KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Sunday said that the dispute over jurisdiction of the National Sports Council (NSC) and the Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) should be settled at the earliest.
Prime Minister Nepal, also the patron of the NSC, made such remarks at a press meet after participating in the NSC board meeting. The relationship between the NSC and the NOC has soured following a dispute regarding representation in the meeting of the Asian Indoor Games, Vietnam, and Asian Games, China held last month.
“I have come here to take first hand information,” said the prime minister, adding that he had directed all institutions of which he is a chancellor, patron and others, to call a meeting. “I got information about the problem and suggestions regarding the sports sector.”
He also clarified his motive behind his NSC visit was to motivate players for the 11th South Asian Games (SAG). “I have come here to motivate players and I have found the players are highly confident.”

PM Nepal stressed on the need for special training to ensure best performance from the players. “Sports are for players, the trend of unwanted officials accompanying them to international games should be stopped,” he said.
“The Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force have given employment to players. Entrepreneurs and educational institutes should also employ players as sports teacher and others.”
Prime Minister Nepal also stressed on the need to chalk out a concrete policy for the sports sector. He assured that the government would take initiatives for the development of physical infrastructure for sports in all districts very soon.
Earlier, before the board meeting, the Nepal National and International Players´ Association had demanded that the future of players be ensured. Minister for Youth and Sports Ganesh Tiwari Nepali, NSC Member Secretary Hari Babu Chaudhary, other officials and players selected for the 11th SAG welcomed the prime minister at NSC.
Meanwhile, the NSC has demanded Rs 115.6 million for the upcoming SAG.
