According to police, Rama Paswan, 37, a resident of Netragunj -2 had reached at the house of Rana Bahadur Biswokarma to loot at Netragunj -8 at 1:00 am Friday.
According to police, the dacoit gang, six in numbers, along with arms, had reached there to loot money after they knew that Biswokarma´s son had just come from job abroad.[break]
After the dacoits broke into the house, the family of Biswokarma and dacoits had clashed.
During the skirmishes, villagers heard the noise and gathered and chased away the dacoits by beating them. Although five dacoits were successful in escaping, police team reached when the villagers had been beating him up and Rama was arrested, said Sub Inspector Deepak KC of the Nawalpur Police Post.
