Nepali umpires leave for Malaysia

KATHMANDU, March 8: Four Nepali Cricket umpires have left for Malaysia to complete their level two umpiring course.[break]



The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) organized course will begin on March 10 and conclude on March 16. Umpires Durga Nath Subedi, Ram Kailash Yadav, Basudev Lal Karna and Manjul Bhattarai will be attending the course in Kuala Lumpur.



The ACC has a policy of giving level two training to umpires who receive 85% in their level one.



Umpires Buddhi Bahadur Pradhan, Satyajit Sarkar, Binay Jha, Sameer Khan, Manihar Adhikari, Sanjay Gurung and Adip Pradhan have already completed level two. The number of umpires having completed level one has exceeded twenty.
