Surendra Dangol, 40, from Sankhu, Kathmandu, was killed in a food store in Jamaica Plain where Dangol was an employee. He was shot dead during a burglary, the web site added. Dangol began working in the store owned by a Pakistani citizen a week ago.
His body has been kept in a local hospital for investigation which will take three days, the web site quoted the local police office.
Dangol is survived by a wife and a nine-year-old daughter who are in Nepal.
