The bulky report of nearly 100 pages includes lessons learnt from the international communist movements, Nepal´s communist movements and history, party´s future directions and internal struggle, working policies of Nepali revolution, and problems in party making process and solutions.
Sapkota said that the political report is expected to address the Nepalese people´s high expectations in the post conflict-era and would give a new height to the Nepal´s communist movement.
The report has addressed the ways to making a unified communist party by stopping the frequent splits and breakaway in the communist movement in Nepal, it is learnt.
Prachanda has stated that Nepali revolution cannot proceed in a traditional fashion and it should be moved forward in Nepal´s typical context.
Prachanda has argued that Nepalis´ lifestyle should be promoted through the means of cooperative movement stating that people´s economic status was not improved despite political changes were made through frequent movements.
The UCPN (Maoist) chairman has said that the party should take special initiative for leading cooperative movement to improve people´s economic and living standards.
"The report has been tabled by realizing the fact that party should propose a basis for economic prosperity as poor economic status has pushed Nepalis aback," Sapkota quoted the Chairman´s political proposal.
Stating that individual ego, traditional dogmatism and revolutionary anarchism were behind the splits seen in the country´s communist movement, Dahal stressed the need for the revolutionaries to move ahead by taking into account the national needs and the objective reality for settling these.
Earlier in the meeting, the party leaders remaining to present their region-wise reports did so. Those presenting the reports today were Giriraj Mani Pokharel,Haribol Gajurel, Hitraj Pandey, Ninu Chapagain, Bishwanath Sah and Himal Kiranti.
Chairman Dahal presented the entire gist of the report after listening to the region-wise reports on Thursday and today.
In his report, Chairman Dahal has pointed out that the stubbornness and the ego of the opposition parties has worked in escalating the present political crisis and that there was very little chance of forging political consensus.
He has also expressed the view in the report that although his party has made maximum possible efforts at forging political consensus, that was not possible and so the political parties should move ahead reinstating the dissolved Constituent Assembly. He also stressed that the party should also not also lag behind in mobilizing the people for reinstating the constituent assembly.
Chairman Dahal has stated that if consensus could be had by January 13, then, election could be held by mid-May, but this possibility was also slim. So, stress should be given to reinstatement of the constituent assembly and a political way out should be sought through this very process.
Party spokesperson Sapkota said that discussions on the party chairman´s report would be started from tomorrow. The report would be given full shape by incorporating the suggestions and recommendations given in course of the discussions and it would be sent to the district and state committees for discussions.
The district and the state conventions that would be held after the conclusion of the General Convention Organising Committee meeting would select the representatives and observers attending the Central General Convention of the party to be held on February 2 in Hetauda, Sapkota said.
