Shyam Bahadur Gurung was killed in the early morning incident in Seosan in South Chungcheong Province. Two others were also killed and seven seriously injured in the incident.
According to David Rai, the president of an organization of Nepalis in Korea, Gurung arrived in Korea in 2000 and was living in the motel and working for a construction company.
