Nepali envoy to participate in Kalam's burial

KATHMANDU, July 29: Nepali ambassador to India Deep Kumar Upadhayay is travelling to Rameshwaram to take part in the burial of former Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam representing Nepal, according to a press statement issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

The burial is scheduled to take place on July 30, 2015. Former Indian President passed away on July 27 in Meghalaya. President Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala had earlier sent messages of condolences to their Indian counterparts expressing grief on his sudden demise.
